Analysis Team Launches Survey on Bank FP&A Practices and Systems

Analysis Team, Inc. has initiated a benchmarking survey of EPM and BI practices and systems in the banking sector. The survey focuses on the activities of corporate financial planning and analysis departments at retail and corporate banks.

The research is intended to help banks understand the concerns and priorities of the industry’s FP&A groups and how they plan to address challenges related to financial forecasting, planning and analysis. Questions cover planning processes and techniques, deployment and use of EPM and BI software, support of compliance and stress testing, and top FP&A priorities for the next one to two years.

Individual responses will be kept confidential, and Analysis Team will provide aggregate results to respondents at the conclusion of the research. This effort will benefit participating banks by providing comparative information and perspectives for benchmarking purposes.

Several banks have already responded to the survey, which requires no cost or advance preparation. The survey is administered by interview, and takes one hour. Interested parties may contact David Liu at for further information.
