At the recent COLLABORATE 16 Conference in Las Vegas (April 10-14, 2016), Analysis Team co-presented with our client, St. Jude Medical. COLLABORATE is an annual technology and applications forum for the Oracle community, and this year there were over 5,500 in attendance.

Doug Pearce, Principal Consultant with Analysis Team, together with Stuart Yasukochi, Manager Enterprise Financial Systems, talked about how St. Jude Medical reinvented their worldwide planning solution by implementing Essbase with Dodeca, reducing complexity while improving functionality and performance.

The presentation highlighted use cases of how the number of input forms was reduced from 220 down to 30 and how they are faster, easier to use and provide much more functionality than before. The presentation also illustrated how Dodeca allowed the elimination of three out of four Essbase cubes and the associated overhead from data and master data synchronizations.
